Halo CE Standalone Wrapper - based off chromium

Intel only for those who are too stupid to realize.
I really don't care if you have problems to be completely honest.

I can't guarantee how long mediafire will keep it online.

To install:
Install with crossover
Drop the Halo CE installer into the program files
Edit the info.plist to the appropriate directory and exe
Install - may have to add DLLs I dunno
- to do this, just run the application
Drag your HaloCE folder from crossover's application support bottle folder to the program files
Edit the directory again to Halo CE.

It doesn't work on Snow Leopard without the pre 8.0 Crossover hacks, google crossover 7.2 on snow leopard. (thin quartz)

It works, if not, you did it wrong, learn by yourself.

If I find this anywhere but here, without my explicit permission, I won't be a happy camper.

Edit: Aliases are broken,
Right click > Show package contents
contents > shared support > cxchromium > support > chromium > drive C

Isn't this the same instructions found here. The problem people have is using Crossover 8 with Halo. The post I linked to was made when Crossover 7 was the latest release.

No, this is "standalone".
It wraps the program in a way that you can just launch the app and it will launch without crossover.

This way if you have >8.0 you can still play it.

It pretty much is, except that method uses Crossover. With this one, all you need is the wrapper and the game. The only difference is that the path to drive_c is pathtowrapper/Right-click show package contents/Contents/SharedSupport/cxchromium/support/chromium/.
