Projectile Error

Post by Scott » Sun Jan 10, 2010 8:41 am

So I was just wondering when I edit the actor tags in Eschaton, I don't understand what half of them mean. What is the projectile error for instance? Or what does target tracking do? I would really like to know. In fact, is there any place I can find out everything about that? Thanks

Btw, I'm not new here. I actually had an account here long time ago (Glitcherguy) but unfortunately I can access that account anymore. I don't know why, but that's just the way it is..

Thanks in advance for all the help :D

If I had to guess, I'd say projectile error is something related to how often the AI misses and target tracking would be related to how fast it tracks (turns towards?) a target. The best way to find out is to play around and see what happens.

Treat Projectile Error like you would treat the projectile spread of a weapon. you probably want it somewhere in the middle of the min and max.

EG:
Plasma Rifle minimum spread: 0.0043633
Maximum Spread: 0.0436332
Major Elites Projectile Error: 0.0174533
Average Error of the Plasma Rifle: 0.02399825

It's somewhere close to the average and lowered because of their rank.
