Can someone please tell me how to make a grenade launcher, using hexedit :?: Also does the hexedit code I posted work?

Well, make a weapon fire out grenades and increase the speed of the grenade.

I made the pistol shoot plasma grenades. But what offset in hexedit is the plasma grenades speed located at, and what byte do I have to change :?:

The exact offset, you can find yourself. But it'll be a float value. Which means 4 bytes. Actually, it'll be two float values. Initial speed, and final speed.

Can you tell me what ASCII code it willbe under like ihev, jorp, ect?

It really isn't anything like that. You need to look on the HMT Plug-ins. I'm sorry to give it away, but, try those. Use HexEditor, and then edit the speed that way. Very easy, :wink:.

Or, if you don't have HMT plugins, just find the frag nade meta, and make all the floats that have 0's like 1000 (using hexeditor)....and hope one of them is right and the game doesn't crash :wink:

lol yeah it is. that way would take hours just to figure out which ones dont make the game crash...

I wont surprised if somebody says figure it out yourself, but I have tried using HMT, but there are some things it says it cant open. How do you edit things? HOW do I use HMT? Thanks to anybody out there who can help.
