This isn't dead. Not quite.
If you want to know how to do AI in bloodgulch, you must be a member of Team Wraith. I posted a tut there.
I only got it working just recently. The tut I posted is more or less correct. All up to the header changes. I'll get that fixed up later. >_>

well, for the fact that its more of a question instead of a request, nobody made it... You simply asked if it would be cool, so its a poll, not a request.
And, AI is apperently, a closly gaurded secret. Although Ive now found it to be quite easy... I havnt done it yet though.

Except for rebuilding... That took around 30 minutes on my comp and the rebuild still didnt work.... Wait. Ive heard HHK is better at rebuilding. Should I use that? It took about 3 seconds when I recursivly imported wheather. (Which didnt work... do to model problems, apperently.)
And Shadow, I thought AI was closely gaurded, was it not? However, by adding all that stuff, it might be possible to make AI harder to trace inside the mod. Otherwise, with a mod with just AI, people could copy the extra code. Simpleness to do...

AI has only been posted on Team Wraith. And rebuilding the map is not always necessary. Most AI doesn't need it actually.

Pretty much you don't always have to rebuild the map. Go ahead and try it.

Oh... Yeah. Read it better that time. Interesting. Very cool. But, does that AI work like in single player or in the Skill Test mod? Do they activly seek you once they see you? Or just kinda shoot if youre in front of them an melee when close enough?
