Temporary tutorial for 3rd person till this is done

The dumbed-down tutorial for third on Mac:

1A. Copy (command + C) this: "01069C04" in the quotes.
1B. "01069C04" in the quotes should be on your clipboard.
2A. Open Halo.
2B. After that loads, toggle(command(apple) + tab) to the desktop.
3. Open 'The Cheat'.
4A. Where it has "Finder" on the top right, scroll down to "Halo".
4B. It should state, briefly, "Target is Halo" at the bottom left corner.
4C. Then, it should revert to "Connected to this computer".
5A. Hit Command + 3.
5B. This should give you a new window screen.
5C. You should have "00000000" pre-selected under "Address".
6A. Paste (command + V) into the "00000000" section.
6B. So, "01069C04" should replace the "00000000".
7. Hit tab.
8. Hit "1".
9. Check the box that is over "Connected to this computer", which is left of "Apply Cheat".
10. Double-click (left click) the 5.0 in the box that activated when you hit the toggle button.
11A. Type in "0.1".
11B. So, "0.1" should replace the "5.0" in the box.
12. Hit "Apply Cheat" button to the right of the box.
13. Toggle(command(apple) + tab) back to Halo.
14. Go in any vehicle in Halo.
15. Get out of the vehicle.

You should be in third person, if things went well.

If it did not:
1. Check 01069C04 address.
2. Check Value of 1.
3. Check if box is checked.
4. Check time to repeat.
5. Check if you hit "Apply Cheat" button.

If those are good:
1. Keep trying to go in and out of vehicle.
2. It works best when Halo is bogged down.
3. The reason is that when Halo is slower, "The Cheat" is not.
Which means the program may apply the cheat several times faster than what it actually was.

All-in-all, that leads to a third person.

The Cheat! is a general purpose trainer for the mac. What you do is designate a target process (like halo) and then you can search through its RAM for values in various formats (floating point, integer, signed or unsigned, different byte-length). The variables you found are saved with each successive search so you can narrow down what you're looking for. So for example you're searching for score. Start a LAN game with a willing friend, and search for an integer 0. You'll get probably 80+ results. Then go kill your friend and search for an integer value of 1. Continue doing this until you've narrowed down what variable the score should be. You can then make a note of the offset of that variable and create a "cheat" by having the program modify that variable for you. The program also allows you to have it modify a given variable every X amount of time so you could have it always set your ammo count to full.
