the mauler is more like a shot gun. i remember. i grabbed it and was like "oh this is awsome" but then it really sucked unless you had dual weilded it.

The mauler is a shotgun, but i would rather use a full lenth one, the mauler is good for a dule weiding because the othergun can cover it while it loads a blast!
