one final thing you cant make them die when hitting the ground(unless you change the maximum falling distance to 0.01) but that effects you too
Did the marine spawn in it, or jump in it on his own?

it entered on its own but that shouldn't matter
i have played ai banshee attack with my buddies and the banshees the ai spawned in did not sync
syncing ai is a lost cause even if it is set right i causes confusion
