actually i was starting to say that but i thought i would be flamed
why not extract the model of the gravity rifle, extract another FP to compare and resize. yeah... maybe not

Do you have a sample of the Belm Rifle?

Also, I'm thinking I could just duplicate and re-model the Plasma Pistol using the Gravity Rifle's model. That might be easier.

not to sound rude or anything but i got the whole weapon laid out. it's kinda like the sentinial beam/focus beam. i'm gonna use a heavily skinned PR, which i might use CMT's fp for the better animations.

There's a version in Tree Fields V2, but I've made updates since; if you want a sample, that's probably your best bet. Tree Fields is available on my website (link at bottom of post in www box).

A few things:
  • It doesn't exactly look sniper-ish on the outside...
  • Reticule is awesome - functional, not too small, not too big, not too fancy.
  • Needs a better scope-in view to look like a real sniper weapon. (like pistol or sniper rifle)
  • Firing effect is good, but a beam, impact effect, or tracer is needed so you can see if the shot hits.

• This is true, but I figured the PR was the best weapon that could be passed for a Sniper.
• Much obliged.
• The scope is present on the newer versions.
• Believe me, when it hits, you'll know it. The tracer is also made visible in the newer version (at the time of release I didn't know lower shader levels rendered it invisible).

I'm still working on getting it out of the map in one piece, without loosing any of the data.
