It's not a dead forum. This forum can be used as long as this topic stays; "Mod Requests".

I'll get started on your mod Spida. As soon as the weekend comes around. I can't do anything during the week. It throws my head off school and I can't do that anymore.

Meh, more like a ten minute crusade actually. I think I now know how to make it so AI spawn and respawn in a certain place. The magical Sparkedit PC. All you gotta do with the mac tools is simply import the marine and various covenant actvs. Then place them with Sparkedit. Of course, there's a downside. Without the Guerrilla or Sapien tools, you cannot make them wander in a specific direction like Ducktape did with his AI in Bloodgulch full mod. (More info here: http://www.halovicis.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=167) In this mod, the marines and covenant walk towards the middle of the map - and each other - and the game simply works from there. I also found a Pelican lurking about in the vehi tag. :P

If you merely place them using Sparkedit, they'll simply mill about and if they see an enemy by chance, they'll shoot it. Best bet would be to place them all in the center of the map. This is why Derelict was the used mac in The Covenant Revenge. It was small, and the AI could easily see each other. Big maps just don't work very well for AI if they aren't clustered in the same area.

Covie Revenge: Chiron TL-34

^ XD

Chiron would make a nice single player AI deathmatch. Block off all teles so you must go in a certain path... AIs in each room. You slightyly better than them, but with limited resources... That could be pretty fun.

You misunderstand. There is one released AI mod for demo, where a couple elites in cars drive wildly while trying to kill you... For full, there is at least 1 awsome one, and for Full PC and CE, there are endless variations.
