The idea would be two bases that are structures that you can't get out of, and the only way to get from base to base would be a stargate shaped teleporter.
Perhaps one base can be the SGC. While the other base would be a gou'ald stronghold. The SGC would have tauri weapons, while the gou'ald base would have gou'ald weapons.
This would be great for stargate fans! So what do you all think?

If you have full, then you'll probably want to convert this map:

Oh, I meant for the trial version.

For trial the options are much more limited. Using fonzie's tutorial, some elements could be borrowed from the map (assuming it's not protected) but it looks like the main feature (the stargate) is the only thing that fits your description and it might be part of the bsp making it unextractable. New custom weapons and a custom map layout aren't exactly simple to do even in halo full. Custom weapons are semi-possible with careful modeling, new bitmaps and some modding of weapon effect but a new map layout requires CE (since even though we can make new models on mac, we can't make new collisions) unless you want a rather uninteresting to look at log mod. For trial makes it that much more difficult.

*cough*Trial*cough*. Alex. Have you ever heard the name "Macintosh"? Or "Apple"? That's what this site is all about. If you have Halo "Trial" version, that means it's for Windows. Which means 1. We don't want you here and 2. You're in the wrong place. Try a modding site that's actually for Windows. You might actually find something you can use there. Otherwise you're just a rock dragging things down.

Well than, any suggestions

.
And just because I have a different kind of system than yours, doesn’t mean you have to be a dick about it.

The main thing is different OS = different programs for modding.
There's always:

Not to mention the fact that I doubt a mac mod will work for Windows. *shrug* But maybe it will and I just don't know it.
And Alex, I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just pointing out that this site really isn't where you want to be for what you're looking for.

Which means having a CD and legit CD-Key. If he has trial, it's rather obvious he doesn't have those.

Edit: Re: Kayar
Mac mods work on windows, windows mods work on mac. The files are exactly the same. The only time something doesn't work for one or the other is because of how the executable itself handles something or rarer how the chip handles something.

Well it doesn’t really matter. All the mods I have encountered here work on windows anyway, so I don't see why there should be a separate windows site. And Altimit01 is right; I don't have a HALO disk or CD-key. So next time you go calling someone a retard, get you facts straight you prick!
P.S. "retard" by definition means to hold back.

I apologize for the... rough reception here Alex. However, Kayar does have a point. This site works on Mac Halo mods (and this section specifically for Halo Demo). Therefore, we can't do much in the way of stuff to help you.
There are Windows versions of many of the principle tools that we use here, and I do recommend following the link Altimit gave you.

It’s no problem. I was only suggesting mod ideas in case nobody thought of it yet. I really came here because I was here before, and this site made an impression. Plus I recently came from a forum full of rude jerks, and I found the friendliness here refreshing

. I'm not here for only the mods; I'm also here for the community.
P.S. I also may have come here for a little tech support
