grenade question

First off; all of the newbs like to use nades over and over cause they have no skills so i was just wondering is there anyway that when a noob was to through a nade if u shot the nade ( wether in air or on ground ) it will automatically explode? also be easier to take out banshees and hogs. This possible?

uhmmm... i think i did this some time ago, but for rockets.
theoretically it's possible with grenades too. <_< just modify the custom collision i did for rocket launcher.
(well, saying "just do this" is a bit asshole-ish. XP
i should do it, but i seriously don't have time. 
)
the collision model i'm talking about is in my filefront page.
if someone wants to modify it feel free to.

can you explain that a bit better? you mean you want the grenades to explode on contact?

nah ik wat he means..... ok if a grenade in in the air and you have.... lets say and AR then you shoot at it and if one of the bullets hit the grenade it explodes.

the chances of that are small, that is prolly why Bungie did not put it in the game.

Grenades are not noob at all. Noob is rocket launcher and other heavy weapons. Most kills on games are finished off with grenades, and they take alot of skill to kill someone with, that is like saying "Walking around is noob".
