Improving Text

Have you noticed how annoying it is to have chat text disappear so quickly? Is it possible to modify the Halo Demo application to allow text to remain on-screen for a longer period of time? I doubt this info is stored inside the multiplayer maps, but I suppose it's possible.

It disappears as quickly as it does because Halo is not meant for chatting. It's for mindlessly shooting things.

Yeah, if you wanna chat use Teamspeex
or something. Blowing each others heads

teamspeax would be ideal in your case, as modding that would also be annoying for some people, i know i dont like the text floating on my screen,

Perhaps I should tell people who want to chat that they should get TeamSpeax then.

If it would be annoying for some, then they wouldn't get that mod; and this would mean we would need to make it so all the players wouldn't need this particular feature in order to join a game where the host has it (as in CSS).
