can someone please make a mod that takes place on the island,but where pelicans can pick up vehicles?
like, if you click your grenade button over,say,a warthog,the pelican will pick up the warthog,then grenade button again will SAFELY drop the vehicle?
please do this someone

i know you need scripting,and I don't think that coldsnap is converted,and if it is,definitely not for Mac OS X

It IS possible to export protected vehicles, if you don't mind long lines of +'s after the name "protected".
Perhaps if you imported the pelican from Coldsnap, it could work.

Coldsnap isn't protected and I tried that before, but it doesn't work

Actually, screw it. I'm too lazy to get it to work right. Here's the idea though. Take the npelican from import island, make the chaingun a powerful grav gun, make the arc extremely high, move the projectile origin so that the projectiles spawn right underneath the back of the pelican, and edit the trigger bitmasks so that you can click to pick up or release things.
