1v1 Tournament
1v1 Tournament
What do you think about a 1v1 tournament or some other type of tournament? Do you think enough people would be interested?
Also, if there was a 1v1 tournament I wouldn't include myself because...well...you know why.

Theres no saying that we can't do more than one tourny, but 1v1 sounds good for a start. As for maps? They need to be varied in size and design, so as to give players with different methods better chances. I.e, if we did nothing but Watchers Wood, three quarters of the player would be screwed, as very few of us snipe regularly. However, WW would be good for one map of several, as it gives a different sort of playing field for snipers than, say, Fortress. The same sort of idea with CQB maps. Vary them.

i think we should start off with a 1v1 tourney and then move on to something like a 2v2 tourney, mb the prize for winning the 1v1 tourney could be having mono as a partner in the team tourney

Here are some of my ideas:
A 2v2 random partner tournament with each round changing partners. The winner would be the person with the best record after all the rounds. This way the good players wouldn't always dominate.
Also for this tournament to work we should have at least 10 players.
Note about Raven Shield. From what I have read it will likely only be playable in OS X, which would kill off most of the RSD players.
