Well, generally when you are creating a competition in the Graphics forum, you want to see graphic design, not some stock image with text over it... so Gvn is right. I'm nearly done with mine, should be up within 24 hours...

Exactly. It's a signature comp, not some random graphics thing. You guys don't need to take "Gravity" so seriously. (for instance, Monk's entry.)

Hopefully this will serve to up the quality of graphics here >_>

Ok. Sorry for the delay, I'm in Alaska and Wifi has been very spotty...

I decided to approach this from the perspective not of a falling object but a sucking, pulling force (which is what gravity is). I used the color that was given to me in a number of ways and shades. Do to the perpendicular nature of what I envisioned, I decided that to best make use of the space I had, Iwould simply use most of the canvas to draw attention and back up the "energy whirlpool." Made with Photoshop CS4 Extended. I personally prefer the version with text.

I also learned a lot about light effects while completing it. Any questions, feel free to ask! I'll put it on DA soon enough...
