Aight, can't get it to look just right, and I've got a few freelance projects I'm working on atm, so I'm gonna go ahead and drop out of this one. Maybe the next one I'll have more time to spend on it.

I decided to approach this from the perspective not of a falling object but a sucking, pulling force (which is what gravity is). I used the color that was given to me in a number of ways and shades. Do to the perpendicular nature of what I envisioned, I decided that to best make use of the space I had, Iwould simply use most of the canvas to draw attention and back up the "energy whirlpool." Made with Photoshop CS4 Extended. I personally prefer the version with text.

I also learned a lot about light effects while completing it. Any questions, feel free to ask! I'll put it on DA soon enough...

Love the 3D effect on the arrow. Did you us a tablet for the swirl? A tut would be appreciated. That is great!

I took the gruesome minimalistic approach. Probably sucks compared to the pros such as Monk, Taxi and Pickoff.

Also I was wondering, how did you make that Taxi? Just a gif in photoshop?
