Garageband is surprisingly good for cutting and pitch changing. You can produce pretty well with it too.

Garageband is fucking win. You wouldn't believe how many songs I have as concepts for real stuff. Hell, I was planning on releasing an album last year. It's been done before, one person bands. Take Owl City for example.

I believe so... I haven't done much research. All I know is that the radio keeps on playing one of his songs and it's pretty kickass.

uhh.... how do you edit pitch in garage band- besides changing your like vocals thingie.....

Select the waveform you want to edit, click the track editor in the bottom left corner (The scissors) and there's a pitch level below it.
