It was between this or L4D. L4D had 4 player online. And its a horror-survival game, which I have wanted for a while. The 2 player co-op on one 360 sold me because my friend plays over here a lot.

Well Ign gave it a 7.3(Xbox) and 7.4 (Ps3)
but they gave Left 4 Dead a 9.0
mirror's Edge looks kinda crap in my opinion
Drac you should have gotten Left 4 dead

Extremely late but still effective failure of reading. I did get L4D. ME looks fine, but I really do need multiplayer for a game to be worthwhile (ME graphics are amazing!)

Am I the only one who understands my posts? I got L4D over ME. After the reviews and some serious thought, I decided the demo was enough for me. Since L4D I have not gotten any games until very recent where I bought Battlefield Bad Company. Anyone with a 360, LIVE (gold of course) and a spare $20-30 should check it out. Its quite a high quality game for such a low price. Imagine CoD4 without the suckiness, the annoying one-hit-kill weapons (not counting snipers (DUH)), vehicles on land, sea, and air, and the ability to blow just about everything up. Thats more or less what BF:BC is. And I do like that every class has some way to blow up lots of stuff. Whether it be C4, Calling Artillery, a Missile Launcher, Grenades of the thrown and shot variety, or a guided missile strike, everyone wins (except the losers).

And Gold Rush is a great new gameplay mode, even when you get spammed by helicopters and artillery noobs. Now that conquest is added, the game is truly awesome.

Did I mention its the first Battlefield with a campaign?

The knife pwns you all. Just like the dogs, which are more dangerous than the guys with guns. I finally just ran into a house, set a claymore by the door, set loose the dogs and ran back inside. Threw grenades through the door and dog bodies flew through the door down the hall and smacked into the wall. A waste of grenades and claymores, but it gets the job done.

^What?

And what I meant is that it seems every weapon killed me in one or two hits during the very brief time I played CoD4 online. Any and every range, big or small, ballistic or explosive. That and the grenades never got picked up and thrown back. Very disappointing. And my grenade launcher never killed people even with direct hits. And it only holds 2 freakin' ammo.

Also, the knife in BF:BC is far more awesome simply because you get a dogtag whenever you knife a person. I wish it hadnt been mapped to the Y button though. Many a time I have created an annoyed teammate due to trying to switch my weapon and accidentally knifing him in the back. >_<

-.-; If you had played campaign, you would've known enemy dogs pwn you. So you set claymores in doorways and throw grenades. And then you watch the bodies fly past you.
