I also need it to:
• NOT be as slow and laggy as hell
• to record sound happening in-game/on the computer

Wouldn't it be nice to find one? I've searched for some hours but the only FREE video recorders are for Windows >:(
The ones I found out for mac are very expensive

Copernicous is as laggy as hell. I tried it out more than a year ago. =_=

I just realized I haven't deleted Copernicus yet. I've had it for over a year.
EDIT: Just made a few Machinima tests. People wanted to be in them. BAD NEWS: 8 minutes of Coperncious decent video is 600MB. NO. GTFO.

Video > Select Region > Resize the Box over the whole screen > Scale 100% > turn off follow mouse > start
Takes up HUGE amounts of space, though.
