[TuT] Tractor Beam
Simple tractor beam really, but still...
First off, you have to set a proj's (any) Intial Velocity to 1E+14 (100000000000000), and the Final Velocity to 1E+16 (10000000000000000).
Then you go to the jpt! of the edited proj and set the force of the proj to a positive interger (2 works alright). It has to be positive.
That's all you have to do, for a tractor beam really.
Optional*
*Use the Plasma Rifle with 0.001 heat per shot
*Change Battery per shot to 0.001
*Change the RoF 40
*Change the spread to 0
*Change the Force to 0.15 (For a stronger Beam 0.55)
*Change damage to something low, like 0.001

Why not just make it white to start with? It saves a second or so >_>Løki wrote:Highlight itRofldonutburger wrote:Change the color please, it's really hard to see red on gray.

....i tried and it makes things float for me
Re: [TuT] Tractor Beam
my gravity gun pulls stuff towards you and it s the same as this but the projectile is the charged plasma-pistol bolt
Re: [TuT] Tractor Beam
all im saying is, instead of a useless post (useless chain of posts by both of us XD)Rofldonutburger wrote:Why not just make it white to start with? It saves a second or so >_>Løki wrote:Highlight itRofldonutburger wrote:Change the color please, it's really hard to see red on gray.
just highlight it
Re: [TuT] Tractor Beam
To Loki - everyone does things for reasons.
The values should be 100 and 5400, according to what the Gravity Gun mod values are for initial and final velocities.

Either you are groping for answers, or you are asking God and listening to Jesus.

But the material effects get messed up - human armor and leaves (and other biomaterials like other players) reflect the projectile and push you back. It's almost like a sword lunge in reverse

O_o thats why the force pull doesnt work on bipds and vehicles..Sparky wrote:But the material effects get messed up - human armor and leaves (and other biomaterials like other players) reflect the projectile and push you back. It's almost like a sword lunge in reverse
Re: [TuT] Tractor Beam
It works on vehicles for me. It doesn't work on bipds without further tweaking.
