Okay, Before you get flamed, I'm just gonna answer this topic so no one will flip at you >.>
Download the mod
Find the bloodgulch.map file inside the mod folder
Sometimes it's named after the mod, in that case, rename it to bloodgulch.map
Copy the "Maps" folder inside your Halo Demo Folder, and paste it somewhere safe, that's how you back up your maps so you always have the originals
Take the modded map and put it in your original maps folder, replace the original
that's it
on a side note
READ THE STICKYS!!!

I know stickies are meant to be read and useful, but some of them are outdated and bad anyway. Especially the "Noobs: How To Play A Mod" (I mean, who needs Stuffit?)
I am no longer active to Halo or MGM, and don't guarantee a response on the forums or through email. I will however linger around the discord room for general chatting. It's been fun!

Go and watch Altimit's recent video on modding. That covers most basic things.

Sit and sitx files should, never, never, never, never be used by anyone at all ever anyway. I'll stress that point by saying that if anyone were to release anything in the open wide Macintosh world that used those formats, then they would definitely receive a lot of complaints. Using those formats nowadays is just having an excuse for telling someone to download a bad piece of software. I would blame the author for using such a compression format, not the user. Zip files of course can be unzipped nowadays without needing to download anything. Password archives can be left to The Unarchiver, a better alternative.

My point is that you should not need to download some other piece of software to install mods, and if you were to release them out in the public, then why would you password protect your zip files?

No one needs Stinking Stuffit.

edit:

And I'll be quoting my old post from CH.
If you must download some program that unzips various amount of zip formats to fix your problem, do not download Stuffit (which is a piece of trash, by the way). It's amazing how many people use stuffit, put up with their 'trial's and annoying software updates, and junk it installs on their computer, and especially use 'sitx' or 'sit' formats when they find out people can't unzip the file and the lame excuse being "download stuffit" or "shouldn't stuffit have came with your OS?" (course not, since it's a piece of trash)

A good alternative for unzipping files is The Unarchiver, which handles various zip formats (even 'sit', which is a zipping format you SHOULDN'T be using anyway, edit: you shouldn't be using sitx either)
Some people are a showing disagreement to my post because they think the user should do extra work in order to install the mod. I am showing a disagreement to the posts above because I think you should make the installation process easier for the user. Which really makes more sense?

stuffit is junk. Good old .tar.gz always worked for me, and btw, if you need passworded files I would use a dmg file.

The Unarchiver, The only unarchiving Application you will ever need.

Even extracts .exe archives.
