Halo 3 Vidmaster Challenge: Annual

Well... Been a while since I posted here. But today is a big achievement. Or a hard one, at least. Any of you with Halo 3 or knowledge of the acheivements should know of the Vidmaster Challenges and what they are. Two are simple checkpoint achievements, one is a hunt and the last and hardest is skill based. Four players must traverse the final level of Halo 3 using Ghosts with the Iron skull activated. On Legendary. Today me, Fonzie, Tyler, and RXR Slyone managed a full run of that wonderful homage to the final level of Halo. After 385 deaths (Tyler's stats were not recorded somehow) and 1 hour, 39 minutes and 58 seconds, we hit that final jump with both me and Fonzie falling off the edge. Quite a close call.

guys, we did this in record fucking time, and we destroyed everything, and i can say without a doubt that last night was one of the funnest times ive ever had playing a fucking video game.

Would have been better if that one checkpoint didnt have me almost dying over and over.

Also, I just noticed the main guy's name is also Monk.

PS: Stuff would be so much easier to photograph if I could rewind in campaign theater. You also cant take video clips. Which sucks. A lot...

I have the entire thing saved if anyone wants it. Still takes about half an hour to speed through the thing at full speed. Also, I just realized it took us 2 seconds short of 100 minutes to finish. 1337ness!

I know. Something went funky with your stats...

And unfortunately, barrel rolls are less awesome in photo. Except this one I had that looked like my ghost was doing some sort of super-final energized tornado blast. Pretty epic, but I ended up blasting through it and I cant rewind the footage. So if I want to sit through another 15-20 minutes of fast forward, I might. The shot was definitely worth it to go back through the video.
