animations would go great with that make the windows with the mods go by or something

Re: MacGamingMods Youtube / Videos / Tuts
More than just crossing and axis mods, though. We could have one of each 160... on a rotating globe, like they do in the news studios
Use zapfwerkz for that, or whatever it's called... ProAnimator.

Yeah, we need animation. The mini-logo is nice though. I was thinking about it but you beat me to it. The second one is too cluttered, as you said. And blurry... Ill see about animation. Maybe 3D can help us!

Yes, that's what I thought too.
Unfortunately I no longer have access to my video editing applications, so I'll be unable to create a clip. Unless I animate it in photoshop, and can export as a movie file. I'll see what I can do.

You seem cool, make an account.
The armaments which thunderstrike the walls
And monarchs tremble in their capitals.
The oak leviathans, whose huge ribs make
Of lord of thee, and arbiter of war;
Alike the Armada's pride, or spoils of Trafalgar.

I think instead of having to mods i was thinking of having an eschaton window in one of window since that is core of our mods.

Re: MacGamingMods Youtube / Videos / Tuts
Alright, I had a nice idea for an opening animation. Worked on it an just couldn't get stuff to look right. And I realized something. We DONT have a logo. Think about it. That top bar doesnt count, and while Perception's avatar is great (we should use it) it isnt a logo either. A logo should be something we can plaster onto anything. It should be included in the title screen but not overpowering and not completely unimportant. For example, Machinima.com has the fancy "M" in a box. You can change it to any color and it still makes sense. The Portal logo. Anywhere, any color, and its still Portal related. The Half Life symbol. Same thing. The Apple logo. Just the apple itself gives the idea. So here is what we need... We need a simple, scalable graphic that can be changed to any color and put anywhere that still gets the point across that it is related to MacGamingMods. The best I can come up with so far is to get rid of all the excess graphic design on the avatar and just use the "MGM". If anyone can tell me the font or can suggest a better one, I can begin re-working the idea and figuring out how to make it look pretty. I was thinking for an intro screen that maybe the logo expands out into the full words "MacGamingMods" and then something special happens with lighting/blur/reflections/etc.

^^Using those three letters jut as they are with solid colors would be nice.

I didn't know what font was used, so I just cropped it out of the graphic. And yes, we need a logo, my avatar I created, was something simple that went along with the theme we have, but that's not a logo. We need a symbol to represent us, that can be any color, any size, and something easily identifiable. I suppose I could work on a logo, however I'm designing my sister's wedding invitations atm, and am a little busy.

This could be our symbol:

Re: MacGamingMods Youtube / Videos / Tuts
How does that signify MGM in any way? Maybe we need to make a new one from scratch... I dunno. I liked the Mgm thing from the avatar. But we need the font type to do it. I cant (ironically) reverse engineer it easily from the avatar picture. And I am too tired to try.
Re: MacGamingMods Youtube / Videos / Tuts
Yes Modzy, it could
It's a pretty sick symbol, representing awesomeness, but I'm not sure that it's fitting in this case.
