The Conduit
The Conduit
Anyone have The Conduit? I'm SO fucking sick of waiting for like half an hour in a server lobby waiting for the game to get going. So, friend code:
2707-9531-5407
Nintendo's goddamn wifi system makes me sick. The whole "search for other players" thing is like shooting fish in an ocean, blindfolded, while facing the other fucking way. >.<

Re: The Conduit
The only online game on my wii is Dr. Mario. And I have found so many of my friends who also have the game. But I think nintendo just wants to be like microsoft with their xbox 360.

I play Mario Cart and Smash Bros. Brawl.
Brawl is the best sidescroller ever, I just played my friend and Link>Donkey Kong

Brawl is a sidescroller? What happened to the platforms you would fight on? I liked those

>.< It is a 3d Sidescroller so to speak, the games are rendered in 3D but you can go back an' forth and up and down, but it technically is a sidescroller, but just barely.
Re: The Conduit
The 1st one was so called "3D" even if you could only move up and down and left and right. But I still prefer the 1st one.

Oh, whatever. Mario Cart just isn't as fun if you've ever driven a golf cart madly across the course. That's why I like using the Mii feature, reminds me of that time.

This is called 2.5D. It means that the game is in 3D, but the character is only able to move on an XY plane. Many 2D games are like this now. 3D is there, but not used. A good example is the N64 Kirby games. Although in that, the path could curve on the Z axis, and you could even have circular rooms, but technically its 2.5D, as you can only move left, right, up and down. It simply appears 3D.
Re: The Conduit
Brawl isn't a side-scroller, unless you count the subspace emissary, in which case it's a side-scroller in the same way Melee's Adventure mode was a side-scroller.
And, Hostbot, I don't want to get into a flamewar against you like I did with Leftover_Crack. If you want to know what you're up against assuming you did want to get into a flamewar, check several pages back in the General Discussion section and find the posts by myself and the one I mentioned. Just got through with like a three or five (don't remember when I began) hour long Conduit online multiplayer section, and I can definitely say that it fucking rocks. I just don't like Nintendo's "find people or get some friends who are never on so you can never play against them" online multiplayer scheme. Honestly, I might eventually get a 360, but it would be a side-console for me. I'm a Nintendo hardcore and not you or anyone else is going to change it.
