Recently, I came across a mod called 20 CE vehicles.

To all appearances. this is a demo map, that has had CE vehicles imported into it, and then naturally spawned.

How, was this accomplished? I have extensive experience with bitmaps, shaders, and the positioning and spawning of scen.

Vehicles though, I have relatively little experience with. (Relatively as far as spawning them)

Not be strict or anything, but read the eschaton tutorials and theirs even a video

I recommend you do not do this method in a released mod, because its frowned upon and is considered unrealistic. Although the vehicle in a can is a exception

I invented the weapon and scen spawning methods.

Im talking about how when I plug in 20 CE vehis mod, and start playing, that the two broadswords behind red base, and the decimator floating above it, dont start glitching all over the place.

Im talking about how they spawn NATURALLY. How was that done? Ive spent hours, and in the past, weeks trying to acheive this.

Just swap the vehicle in the scenario in eschaton and global. Also swordedit to move the vehicles.

Whats this "vehicle in a can" you speak of? Ive never heard this term.

One way to spawn vehicles is by in the scnr (scenario) swap the vehi tags in the dependency swapper for the vehicle you want to spawn in its place.

An alternate way is to spawn using Scen (but you would have to take out respawning vehicle time, so the blue warthog spawn glitch doesnt occur.

You can also go in matg to swap the default vehicles.

Also, Amy your avatar fails at having a transparent background.

it used to be white...i just want it to be easier on the eyes, not transparent.

its a ce tag, basically a grenade that spawns a vehicle. You can find it converted in incyclopedia. I like to bitmap it for my own vehicles.

A grenade that spawns vehicles? Oh thank god. Ive gotten so tired of using a weapon to quick-spawn a vehi just to see what it looks like, or what it even does. Definately looking it up.

Also what I like about it is, it doesnt crush you immediatly.

My point, as it almost always tells you you killed yourself, so you have to wait ten seconds before you can even spawn again. And when you spawn, seeing as how its at random, who knows how far away youll end up. O_o


EDIT: Where can you find it? Incyclopedia? I cant seem to find it.
