Yeah,I am just learning to skin, that was done using clone tool and I got the image from google, now I am just editing the images with what is already in the photo, and the brushes so yeah. I wish I could really skin though,it's kinda confusing.

I just sorta figured out one of my problems to skinning :D

I forgot to mess with the bitmaps in the shader, such as the detail maps, now the ground looks a lot better. lol.

Update on bitmaps:

so,what do you think?

yeah I had to brighten up the image a little before uploading so it may look sorta wierd.

The walls, look like they are made out of granite. The ground needs to be edited to go with the theme of the walls. Notice how the walls in bgulch match the floor.

Go to hce.halomaps.org and search for "photorealistic textures".
Either you are groping for answers, or you are asking God and listening to Jesus.

It reminds me of fur ....

The ground doesn't look too bad, but it should be somewhat patchy like the walls, assuming you're keeping the current look of the walls.

In general I don't really like yellows. So I might be a little biased. :P

Actually, don't scrap it. Make a camofluage mod and use the same bitmap style for the ground! I would imagine that it'd be hard to see ppl on such a texture. But make the mod protected and non-CSS, so people can't cheat.

Not too good... Too bright, and the UVWs are stretched. Can we have a look at the actual texture? (As in the bitmap file)

Thanks, but you don't need to, I'm not really planning any bitmap changing mods now, cuz they seem to be really common. I like to do gameplay-changing mods. If I change graphics it would be through other means, like ref swaps and color metas.
