[THE COLLAB] Blood Gulch Reality

Ever been frustrated when you load half an AR clip into someone's head and they didn't die? Or when you can't run as fast as is shown in cutscenes? Join the Spartan Reality Collab Project! This consists of two mods, Blood Gulch Reality and Silent Cartographer Reality. Both are attempts to make the maps of Halo Demo as realistically as possible. This thread is for Blood Gulch Reality.

Terms and Conditions:
  1. Credit will be given as much as requested only for work done. (If you do the bipd, you can ask to be credited for jump and walk speed, and you can ask for your pet turtle to be credited for giving you inspiration, but you cannot ask to be credited for doing the AR.)
  2. You will have to report at an interval of 7 days starting from Wednesday, 17 March 2010. (Meaning that you will need to report every Wednesday on progress and stuff like that to make sure you're still there.)
    1. If you will be offline for more than 7 days, you just need to inform a Mod Leader when you'll be back.
    2. If you do not report for more than 7 days after your last failure to report, (meaning you can fail to report once but not twice in a row) your tasks will be passed to the next available person and your position will be opened for replacement. (If you're a secondary, your tasks will be passed to the primary and vice versa.)
    3. Your report will be quite simple: it's just to say what you're working on, maybe what you're planning to do, and what might be preventing you from working faster. If you'll be away you can also notify us of your period of absence. You only need to send it to the Mod Leaders.
  3. Mod Leaders (or anyone higher than you) cannot edit your work unless it:
    1. Conflicts with another edit by someone else, in which case it will be changed first to retain the concept of your mod as much as possible; or
    2. Has been voted to be changed, in which case you will be informed prior to the change and you will be given up to your next due report to approve the change or explain why it should not be changed.
  4. You cannot choose two jobs in the same phase. (For example, you can choose bipd on BGR and weapons on SCR, but you can't do bipd on both.)
  5. Last but not least: This mod is made for the enjoyment of all and to contribute to the modding community. Hence, it will not be released with any license, and it will not be protected. May modding communities judge their own rippers fairly.
Guidelines (subject to change without prior notice cuz you won't suffer if you don't follow):
  1. Refer to positions or people in positions in this format: BG for Blood gulch and SC for Silent Cartographer, tag name (example: weap, scen), and first three letters of position. For example, the Primary Weapons Modder for Blood Gulch Reality will be referred to as "BGweapPri" (without quotes).
Positions List:
  1. Mod Leader: 2310 (It's a non-negotiable position. LOL)
  2. Phase 1: Weapons
    1. Weapons Modder:Fonzie
  3. Phase 2: Bipd
    1. Bipd Modder: POSITION OPEN
  4. Phase 3: Vehicles
    1. Vehicles Modder: Pielogist~
  5. Phase 4: Scenery
    1. Scen Modder: Dittoz7
  6. Phase 0: Everything else
    1. Primary Bitmaps Modder: Flaming Bunnies
    2. Secondary Bitmaps Modder:Amy
    3. Primary Effects Modder: Turtle
    4. Secondary Effects Modder: VimesV
    5. Memory Modder: POSITION OPEN
    6. Mod Publicity: VimesV
    7. (include custom positions here): Make your own position! :D

i thought we've established that collabs are difficult to manage and unreliable in a previous topic...

Psh, same thing with me in CoD4 about the headshot thing. I unloaded half a clip of .50 caliber rounds into someones ass, and they kill me!

I'm attempting to create a collab that will be easier to manage. And I thought we established that if had enough people who could take over others who failed, it would get done eventually...

You're welcome! You're supposed to be in charge of effects, so the weapons division will let you know if they vote to have any effects changed. In the meantime, look through the list of effects and see if there are any you can improve.

I want BIpd, It's easier to change the COLL than make all weapons headshottable. just increase the Head damage multiplier in COLL.

Done! But I thought you wanted to fix the AR and Plasma Rifle? (BTW, wernarner84's waiting for your instructions on what weapons to do. Unless you want to skip doing weapons, then he'll be the primary weapons modder.

i'll help but i am highly unreliable because i tend to get lazy and abandon the job. ;D
