Uh... I sort of already did? I told you that when you fire a homing weapon at a piece of scenery like a boulder it tends to home in on that. There's nothing else to tell... I think you're a bit on the confused side? Confused by absolutely nothing? o_Olevel 1 kid wrote:Dr. Narwhal: you mod is on filefront and doesn't work... can you just tell us?

Ah, whoops... I'll update that when I get the chance...level 1 kid wrote:Do i smell shoes in here???
You could have some sort of laser that when placed, reaches across the map in one direction, causing slowness or death or something like that. Fun for an obstacle course type map002 wrote:About that "trap" you wanted to make -
Make a weapon shoot a projectile rapidly. (sniper bullet recommended)
In the bitmasks of the trigger of this weapon, makes sure "locks in on/off state" and "sticks when dropped" is on. You need a rapid fire weapon that's not attached to a vehicle to do this. Also, make sure this weapon has zero spread and infinite ammo. If you want to spawn it somewhere, be sure that it's unaffected by gravity and it maintains Z up.

My idea was to have the laser grid automatically activate upon flipping a control panel (I can make this work now, since my recent research, yay!) and the laser grid would surround the team's flag so you either have to duck underneath it or it just kills you outright and you'd have to have a teammate flip the switch off somewhere in the cliffs so you can get the flag.
If you do use the laser, disable the projectile's impact effects so that the mod doesn't lag.
Probably leaves materials, like how the gravity gun projectiles will ricochet off these and push you away when aimed directly at them.Kayar wrote:Another thing about homing: Oftentimes projectiles tend to home in on objects that are not bipeds, like certain scen (boulders and trees usually).
