Yes, you can make destructible bsps. But there is a separate Tool executable for compiling breakable surfaces. I'll have to research this more. In the mean time, go ahead and try adding the appropriate symbol to the end of the destructible surface's shader tag.
Either you are groping for answers, or you are asking God and listening to Jesus.

Re: [Tutorial] How to make ANYTHING completely transparent
Ok ... so, for example, I'm trying to make the Ghost destructible. Which tags should I rename, and what is the relationship between bitmaps/shaders/graphics stuff names and the object that is supposed to have the target effect? (For example, will making one shader climbable make the whole object climbable, or do all shaders/bitmaps need to be renamed?)

It would make the surface using that shader climbable.

So if i named the cyborg bitmaps climable, then the MC is climable? Or can he climb stuff that comes into contact with it, like a rock?

He would be climbable. I don't think it works in reverse...Fortune wrote:So if i named the cyborg bitmaps climable, then the MC is climable? Or can he climb stuff that comes into contact with it, like a rock?

Has anybody gotten this to work? I tried on a few things and didn't notice any change...
Re: [Tutorial] How to make ANYTHING completely transparent
There's a flag in the cyborg's bipd that would let him climb all surfaces. Moreover, collision models can be modified so that they are climbable.Sparky wrote:He would be climbable. I wonder what would happen if I made a log climbable.
