not to post in a old topic, but this is the only place it can go...

my lovely 5 minute thing i thought of in class while trying to use a computer. however, today we had a lockdown drill, and i ended up walking into the most beautiful room. 30-40 mac minis purring softly away. wow. i dont know what class that is but im gonna find out just to take it.

Some student got in a fight with his girlfriend at a pizza parlor down the street from my school. Apparently he then went home, got a gun, came BACK TO SCHOOL, and shot randomly in the air. So I spent two hours in my chemistry classroom eating popcorn and "watching" the Wedding Singer.

I don't even know where to begin.

Actually, you can get a virus simply by having an internet connection. That's how the Slammer Virus (Smallest yet incredibly horrible virus) worked. Also, there are many things in Google News on Internet Explorer and (a) hole(s) in it that have taken down quite a few computers. Stupid IE. Let your butt be hacked.

Psh. Most programs in Whendoze come with coding you never knew they had until a virus comes and takes advantage of them. For instance, Slammer used SQL (or something), which just happens to be coded into many programs for God only knows why.
