Extracting Models

Post by draconic74 » Mon Mar 05, 2007 5:38 pm

Yes, this forum is quite dead, but I need to post this question here.

So, Ive been pondering what to do for my next mod, and I knew that I was gonna remodel stuff. So my question is, for a more realistic Halo weapon, is there a way to extract models from the Ghost Recon Demo, and if so, how? Thats all I need to know.

Thanks,
-Drac

You don't need to extract the models since each model is its own file. They are not grouped together like in Halo. That doesn't solve your problem though, the format the models are in is custom for Ghost Recon and cannot be read by any modeling program.

That is a problem... >_<

Any way to reformat? I thought I saw some mods where people had remodeled weapons.

The guns were not remodeled but made from scratch. There is a large gun model community for full ghost recon.
