Anyone interested in a small coop tourney?

We have decided to cancel the tournament and just release the missions.

One reason for this is Operation Ivy (one of our missions), is gonna be released on Friday (October 15th) in the upcoming Alpha Squad MOD. Therefore a team could have the advantage of being able to play the mission before they play in the tournament which isn't fair to the other teams.

So we will release the mission within th efollowing days for the public to play.

Post a link to the tournament while you are playing coop on GameRanger. That should help get the coop players that don't know about the tournament yet.

They're "new" missions Vir2L and I came up with. Details to come with briefings, I expect.

Good question. Virt's a much better ghost recon idea man than i am. My strengths are more of turning ideas into missions. And these two missions are really really something. Long ones. The 2nd mission I just did there were OVER TWO HUNDRED iterations of it to get it just *so*. There's a big difference between doing a regular mission, even a good one, and a tournament mission - I've found. To do well on these, it's all about team work.

I think there might be some issues with the properties of the textures that are gonna keep it from getting fixed. =( bummer. We might need to do some small tweaks in order to compinsate for the issue.

I chatted with Leary earlier today and we we arent gonna run the tournament after all.

We are just gonna release the missions as a tournament pack.

Sorry for the inconvenience we just figured we would rather play these missions with teams rather than watch teams get eatin alive one by one. haha
