Thank you. It does appear however, that it's ok to mod... from my interpretation of the argument and legal quotes, as long as we don't claim the Halo, or a map itself is ours. I think it should be ok to say the mod, but not the map, is ours, however. Has anyone actually asked Bungie about this?

I did find something interesting however:

(yea, i know you can open .doc documents with textedit...
but it's the extension that is... rgrgr... ugly.)

what I know is that he took a halo CE map and converted it.........right? i thought since its CE it was fine. but now i hear hes taken bsp from FULL version and converted it................bungie could shut us down for that...............which is why i said to you moxus.: CE is the future of moding.
you said that recreating and making new maps was the future. i agree with this as well. both of these seem likely canidates for reviving the demo. what i DONT believe is that we should use objects from mac full. so if tyler used BSP from full........i think hes in the wrong 100%

Well.. If you down halo full, technically it's not wrong, but a lot of people on MGM don't so......I think FULL-->DEMO=Illegal, but CE-->Demo= OKAY!, so if you really want a full map on demo, convert that stuffz to CE, then to demo
