y'know whats wierd? if you shoot the hoverboard it spawns with an AI using it, so u ave to kill the ai to use the board.

whats really fun is going in a horse and spawning them like crazy, then nuking them with the longsword.

Method # 1: spawning with weapon

first you need to open the BloodGulch.map in a halo modding application that has Dependancies-swapper(aka D-swapper) and turn that function on...

after that chose a weapon on the right of the margin by clicking on it.
next you highlight the tag labeled "proj" and change its label to "vehi"

Ok... i have 2 days using mods... and i downloaded today Eschaton, if i do that step... the weapon will only shoot the vehicle? for example... is it possible to change the melee for the vehicle spawning?

I don't think so. I've tried doing it before, and got nothing. It may be because melee doesn't use a projectile, but I doubt that.

the melee is a jpt! tag.



but you can spawn vehicles by grenades, projectiles and sceneries.


to spawn them from grenades goto matg tag, and make the "proj" tags become the "vehi" tags you want.

Ok... ty so much, im starting to get this modding stuff... and i see that isnt as complicated as many people told me...
And.. about melee, isn't possible change directly the database? to change the melee data and turn it into a projectile?

Just wondering if there was anyway possible to spawn something by swapping it with a piece of scenery without it all spawning on one spot on the map :?:

yes, it is possible.

you need to edit gametypes. DL this.




follow the readmes, and create a gametypes with no vehicle respawn.

when you will use it, the vehicles will not re-spawn at blue base's warthog spawn point.

i actually tested it XP

i swapped cyborg_mp's jpt! with a proj, and it made nothing.

then i swapped the melee jpt! of a weapon with a proj, and nothing happened XD



well, i can understand that :-\ i just ask myself why the map didnt crash :?

Heh, maybe it's not intended for online play, but if the host spawns vehicles from the dino then everyone who joins with import island can see them. Just had an amazing game with a draco and 2 banshee terrorists. XD
