Question about map making...?
I doubt that there are any programs for Mac out there where you can create your own Halo Maps.
If there are any Windows programs for creating maps, is it possible that you can convert those maps you created to be compatible with the Mac Halo Demo?

Unless you're talking about Windows..in which case..nevermind.
Emoticons make the sun go round.
Having said that, you need more then a model to make a map. You'd need a custom Scnr (scenario) tag, a Coll (collision) for the map, new bitmaps to skin the map... the list goes on.

1. duck tape
2. pieces of scenery
3. some magic
4. a penguin

Best way I have found to make an entirely new map:
1. Import a few pieces of scenery from Mota-Lev's tags pack, or export one from a converted CE map yourself.
2. Open your map in Sparkedit Mac. Move your scenery where you want it, forming an entirely new map (almost).
3. Move other spawn points using a combination of Sparkedit Mac Intel and Sparkedit Mac PPC (or just PPC if you don't have an intel) and Eschaton's scnr editor.
4. Use the nulling bloodgulch's bsp tut to null out the bsp, and change the sky shaders in Eschaton to whatever you want, or even make it entirely black or some other color.
5. Export/import some new music from b30.map
6. Apply ducktape, magic, and penguin as instructed by your local witch doctor.
7. Pay me $5000 for the use of this tutorial.

Although for step 6, can I use a monkey instead of a penguin?
