Then use HMT, use the button right under preview when you choose a bitmap.zapconquest wrote:Injecting is for .dds files (I tried injecting a jpg just to test it and it told me it wasn't a valid file); is that all it can do?XD (G)hosts wrote:As for importing images just click inject, not import
Eschato 0.7: Bitmap Demo
.dds is just a container format and some people don't have much use for things like the squish converter nor know enough about image files to know what format to change the image to.
I see no reason why it should not recognize your image files. Sometimes RB screws up so I'd quit the program and try again. What might also help would be making sure that they have the dot suffixes for their file format.
EDIT: ghosts, do you have the image you imported because all I'm getting is a pure black image.

I'm thinking the .dds wasn't encoded correctly. Have you tried importing the image?

It is not. Import is a different dialog that performs the same function as inject in HMT (not to be confused with inject texture). It loads jpg, png and other images and imports them.
