map rebuilding

map rebuilding
could someone post a map rebuilding tut below please? or maybe link one if there is one that i just didnt see. thanks

also also why cant i open up the rebuilt map in hmt? it gives me the nilobject class thing and its hacked to full
also when your rebuilding a map how do u correct all the models of things ur putting into the map? Lets take the wraith for example, like for decraping them, can i just export the moddel and replace it with the moddel already in the wratih folder? or do i have to rebuild the map go to the mod2 tag and inject it?nooo not hhk rebuild i meant like hmt batch extract and then rebuild

wait so all u can do is after rebuilding is play it? thats kinda stupid cause then u cant spawn the items u just put in. cause i was gonna make like an extreme version of import island except it be bloodgulch and have like every tag i can get my hands on. but if i have to import then and moddel correct one by one thatll take forever. 


I was not aware that rebuilding makes the map protected, or unmoddable. I thought that rebuilding simply re-arranged, re-added, and re-ordered all the tags, etc. If you want to add more tags, simply do them all, and then rebuild at the end. However, as far as I know, you cannot rebuild twice. Please, correct me if I'm wrong about any of this. For my Mods, including the Evolution Trilogy, Refresh, and More....
Not with HHK anyways. It screws up during the rebuild process somewhere and writes a bogus value that it depends on to rebuild maps properly. You may not believe there will be a improved version in eschaton, but there will be. When we can already build, thats right build not rebuild, perfect maps using tools created it is but a simple thing to make it so we can rebuild maps more then once. This is already present in the PC community. So please, before you express doubts about things you have no knowledge of, get some knowledge.Andor wrote:.....

I wasn't expressing doubts; I don't understand how that came across, xD, sorry. I was grinning stupidly because I couldn't wait to use this feature on a Mac, thinking about the sheer awesomeness of it. And, I also mentioned that I hadn't done this stuff in a while, and to correct me if I was wrong.
