Halo Wars
Re: Halo Wars
And I think that you just got THIS:
Happy Devil jello!
Anyways, I thought that MS was out of the question with Halo Wars... Bungie was working with Ensemble Studios.

Re: Halo Wars
Yes, but Halo belongs to Microsoft (sucks, dont it?). Any Halo title will have to include Microsoft, which means that the Halo universe may be sadly warped out of proportion by their idiocy. Also, that looked a bit like a CG scene...
Story dosnt seem bad though. Think of Starcraft: it was always some Protoss trying to get on the planet for some strange artifact or the Zerg trying to.. well. Kill everything. Like the Flood (which will apparently be in Halo Wars). Also, I dont remember if the story is before or after the Halo series, but I am sure that the Arbiter is actually a different Elite.

Re: Halo Wars
There's nothing bad about RTS's...
Re: Halo Wars
Rts owns! It's not boring like those turn-by-turn games. I'm saving for a 360 just for that.

Re: Halo Wars
I wish I could say the same. Ever since trying to play Command and Conquer 3 though... Ive lost faith in console RTS. Or maybe its because CnC isnt like Starcraft or Rise of Nations, two RTS's which are the types that I play. CnC has been described as starcraft with all units dealing insane damage and have insanely low health while everything uses an explosive based weapon and everything dies in a fireball of shrapnel. And you only have one resource which is constantly brought in. I need more economics in my RTS's and I dont think Halo Wars fits. Ill have to try a demo first...
Re: Halo Wars
Hmmm... If you like that and have a Windblows, try Stronghold 2. Lots of resources come in. (e.g. wood, stone, food, money, honor etc. etc.) I think there's a demo somewhere. It's only like 10 or 15 dollars for the full game.draconic74 wrote:I wish I could say the same. Ever since trying to play Command and Conquer 3 though... Ive lost faith in console RTS.
