Has anyone here had any success importing a pelican, and if so, how did you do it?

yes... i just followed the tut that used 2 be here.......
its really not the difficult.. but somtimes the pelican wind noise is messed up..

sure!

just follow this tutorial for importing it (the process is simpler than how it looks).

if some sounds are screwed, follow this minitut:
- detect the broken sound and remember it. (let's say pel_wind)
- open b30 in HMT.
- hit the snd! carrot.
- search for pel_wind and extract its .meta. save it somewhere...
- open your mod with HMT
- hit the snd! carrot.
- search for pel_wind and inject the .meta you extracted from b30.

and voillà! the sound now works and everyone will be happy and content!

As for your original question, here is a tutorial which I find to be quite helpful.This one was originally made for AI, but the process itself is identical. Just import the Pelican vehicle rather than the AI.
