Hey, pakar, I'm the one doing the preview pics of all the mods

I'm "all ears" for ideas on the structure of the site. I just linked the homepage (www.halodemomods.com) to the wiki because that's all we have so far and because of all the things we can do with it. HDM is supposed to be integrated with MGM, so perhaps we could have our own subcategory here... or we could combine the wiki with MGM's forum. Discuss.

I would like to recommend that each mod have it's own page, rather then a very long page for all the mods. In doing so, we can also have a more easy-to-use URL system: Name of site + Name of mod = YAY!

We would still need a list of mods for people to browse, so that they are all available in one area. We can certainly use the file page of each mod to describe it in detail. I'd like to see at least one picture with one or two sentences about each mod all on the same page. Perhaps we can cut it down to one picture with one sentence for each mod on the Mod Database page. Then, when the user clicks on the download file link, they can read and see more about that particular mod.

Do we all agree upon this presentation method? Are some people having problems editing or viewing the entire database page?

We now own HaloDemo.net, also. It might be easier to use as an e-mail, or for other purposes... whatever. This and HaloDemo.org were the two simplest forms that I could get... so I chose .net instead, since we're more of a network than an organization. Hdmods isn't available, and neither is any form of simply "halo". Halodemo.com is also already taken (by one of those retarded ad sites). Anyway, enjoy! And keep the ideas and graphics coming...

Having an image and a sentence for each mod sounds like a good idea, especially considering it would be easy to do since the long descriptions are already on the page. The title of each mod could probably link to the mod page for an extended description, whether the mod page exists or not.

By the way, in case anyone was wondering, I wrote a script to fetch all the information (author, description, version number) from the MGM mods download page, and to generate the wiki content, so I didn't copy'n'paste a billion of things. That may explain why there's image and download "requested" on all of the mods and why some of the descriptions are not formatted correctly, or something .
