Reminder
If you get a strong enough G5 and a new enough version of VPC, then you CAN run most of the modern day PC games.
True, you would have to be stupid to get a mac for gaming; but some do. Or they play games on their work computer, which is fine I guess.
Blade, still. Halo isn't cross platform yet between computers. Atleast I last I remember they weren't.
I still believe that 99.99999999999999999999% of all Mac 'gamer's are arrogant, egotistical fools who think they 0wn everything and are best at everything

Have you even played Halo 2? If you haven't then your an extreme hypocryte...and thats really bad for arguments.
Infact I choose not to argue with people who have not attempted to try. Makes them look bad if they don't give some things a chance.
And Halo 2 DOESN'T have everything that all else has. Brand new weapons and vehcles that actually explode this time; the gaming experience with people who own at every other game and have finally come to this new one; the maps are HUGE compared to any other game; and there is absolutely no lag (with the exception of over seas play).
I doubt you can find a game with such highly advanced gr4phix (I know I said the G word....::Twitch::) as Halo 2
~Continuation later~

Not True, you can only say something if youve experienced it.Dark Angelus wrote:I would be a hypocrite if I played it, then said it sucked.

Not always true, Medal of Honor (Any), Quake 3, UT. All of these games are old and slightly out of date (Not fashion or request, but date). True D3 has great graphics but still.Dark Angelus wrote:In terms of Halo to Halo 2, yes, it may have one or two new weapons.
In terms of Halo 2 to anything else, it has crap.
Not always true. AvP wasn't huge when it came out. MOHAA was big, true but not as big as Halo 2.Dark Angelus wrote:Eh?
You get that with every new game.
D3 was big, but didn't sell well because of the high requirements.
ALOT of 'good' games have too high of requirments for most players. Thus lack of selling profit. Xbox is universal for all of its games, and thus Halo 2 was simple to get and play.

Not true, UTy2k4 has small maps. and I haev GhR, the maps arent THAT huge.Dark Angelus wrote:Since you really didn't specify what "any other game" is... I can easily name many games with bigger maps, like Final Fantasy XI.
Unreal Tournament 2004 has bigger maps.
Hell, Ghost Recon has bigger maps.
I can see the relative shape of a GhR man in one of the biggest maps, when he is all the way at the other end of the map. Rather than Halo 2, the maps are so huge, the other people are specs.

Not true, quite a few games lag exponentionally even with a faster host. It all depends on the hosting computer, playing computers and all of the above's internet speed.Dark Angelus wrote:This goes for all games, so that makes this invalid.

This made virtually no point at all, with the exception of the graphics point. True SOME games aren't based off of graphics. Graphics pulls in players eyes which makes them want to play the game. Producers want to backup graphics with good stories/MP's. as I said before, more players = more skill.Dark Angelus wrote:Doom 3
Unreal Tournament 2004
I could name a lot more, but why bother.
I didn't realize we all buy games for the advanced graphics.
Graphics don't make a game; gameplay makes a game.
Hell, I'd play an ASCII version of Doom, it wouldn't matter to me.
In fact... *goes off to play the ASCII version of Doom*
Halo 2 is the ultimate game of its time. Highly rated on a number of sites (wil be posted later).
