Now that I look at it, I wish I hadn't really brought up this debate, but I couldn't resist making this post. I not only said stuffit was not needed *and* not *wanted*, I also said it was a bad piece of software too, looking at one of my first posts in this thread.

We are discussing how Stuffit is unneeded and that it is junk, and that the "how to play a mod sticky" thread is bad and wrong in saying that you need Stuffit to install a mod. The sticky thread is bad to the extent that I wouldn't recommend any novice that is interested in playing a mod to read it. Rather, I would just tell them myself how to install a mod.

IF it does not end in .zip, you need to get Stuffit Expander

I did not say anything about absolutely needing Stuffit to install a mod; I said only if it does not end in .zip. If it ends in something other than .zip, then yes, you generally need Stuffit. If you think that my sticky is so bad, please tell me how I can improve it and make it better and more understandable to other people!
