Giving an Elite the Abilites of a Spartan?
I have done searching throughout topics and I haven't been able to find a way to grant an Elite the abilities of a Spartan without making it act strangely.
For instance, to add some variety to the SC map I gave the Elites the "cyborg" antr tag, which as I have been told, should allow them to be able to do all the things as a "cyborg" or Spartan. When I started the Campaign, All of the Elites had their hands by their sides and were sliding along the ground with their weapon's projectiles spewing out.
I have attempted changing around the names of the animations of the Elites to match those of the Spartans (some of) with no effect.
At the moment, I am trying to get Elites to use vehicles and weapons other than the ones already granted to them.
Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Switching the antr isn't the right thing to do, no. The thing is is that in Eschaton there are several missing things to the weap tag, as well as in other tags. The one which you need is called "Weapon I.D. / User Ability. Going into the weapon you want the elite to be able to hold and changing the weapon i.d. to something the elite CAN hold will do the trick. The missing things in each tag can be found here: http://forums.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=58330 Unfortunately, simply replacing these plugins with the ones that Eschaton comes with doesn't always work. Going into most places causes exception errors. Hopefully, Altimit will install this merged set of plugins into Eschaton as they further expand the tags that Eschaton has.
As for vehicles, that is simple. Simply do the same thing you would do to get a spartan to drive the non-drivable vehicle such as the Pelican. Simply go into the ASCII bit in Eschaton and change the driver name to something the elite CAN drive. For example, if you want the elite to drive the 'hog, simply change w-driver to g-driver.

1. If I give it "G-Driver", wont it look like it's driving a Ghost in a Warthog?
2. What if I wanted the Elite to ride in a Pelican? I tried using "G-driver" for one of the seats, but it didn't work.
3. Thank you for the help though!

1. Yes, it will. But, the elite still holds on to the steering wheel (With only one hand though XP) and still LOOKS like it's sitting properly.
2. Try doing something like GT-gunner then. I don't see what the problem is though...it should work with G-driver. Go check Eschaton again...make sure Eschaton didn't add some letters or do something funny to G-driver. 0.4 has that problem.
3. No problem.
