I'll leave you to think about it now...
I very much agree with Shadow's statement. If you find something annoying (like a weapon or vehicle), practice and learn how to kill the user of that weapon. Don't just take it out of the map. In taking it out of the map, you're using the easy way to eliminate the problem.
As an example, I'll take the Banshee. Very simple procedure to kill such a pilot (without a turret, mind you).
This process works best with a shotgun, a pistol and some Frag Grenades, all of which are within reach of the spawn points.
1. At long-range, Use your pistol (NEVER SNIPER, unless the guy has his shields down) and fire at the vehicle in controlled, one-shot bursts. Hopefully, this will grab the attention of the pilot. If it doesn't, continue firing and reloading until the Banshee is out of range.
2. If the pilot comes towards you, continue firing at the Banshee until it's relatively close to you. Whip out your short-range secondary (AR or Shotgun). Fire CONTINUOUSLY on the Banshee with the short range weapon. If the Banshee was close to start with, substitute the pistol with your short-range.
3. If the pilot lunges at you and tries to run you over, side-jump left or right when the Banshee is about 2 meters away. This means that you jump sideways to the left or right. Usually, the pilot won't be able to compensate, and you'll jump over it's wing. CONTINUE FIRING.
4. If the pilot manages to get the Banshee stuck, quickly throw a frag grenade. It should land close, but not right under the vehicle. This is so that it'll get the Banshee if it's still stuck, but will also hit the Banshee in the event it frees itself and lunges at you.
So, to sum up:
Pistol at long range, Shottie at short, frag if it's stuck, jump constantly, and never cease firing unless you must reload/vent heat.
