I like the app a lot. It's really great. Especially the download manager which I think is cool.

One thing I dont like about the app. When I put a mod in, it takes it out of my mod folder, so I have to go and drag it from the app back to the folder.

As expected. The app is designed in a way that it is meant to organize/place/ the map files for you. File menu -> Reveal Map if you are curious where it places a map file (the location differs based on if the mod is enabled or not).

The purpose is for seeing which Halo Demo servers of your interest are online and if they are online, you can view their server statistics and/or try to join the servers. To add a server, you need to know the IP address and port number of it. This portion of the read me explains the how portion:

Go to 'File->Connect to a Server'. Add a server by entering in a host name (can be anything), IP address, and a port number. The 'Connect to Server' window manages server favorites. Server statistics can be displayed by hitting the 'Show preview' checkbox.

If you try to connect to a server that is full, HDemoLauncher will ask if you want it to wait and connect when an empty slot is available.

So, it organizes the servers and so you can know if your friend is hosting a server while in your in one?
