Anyone had any luck (err skill rather) at passing any of the SR2004 missions 100% yet?

So far we have only gotten.....

Navyy Terek - 40 points for stealth demo (1 OBJ)
Caucasus ThightRope - 30 points for planting demo (2 OBJ)
Sealz Rescue - 30 points for rescuing Jacobs (1 OBJ)
Final Encounter - 45 points for stealth demo uplink and meet w/ agent (2 OBJ)

These are some of the most demanding missions I have ever played, but damn they are fun!

Need to have a full squad to even think about passin' these!

Well when I was playing it on somones server the other day I think we averaged a grand score of 0 on every mission :).

heh, they ain't no walk in the park, thats for sure!



BTW - I have noticed some servers who are playing the MOD but dont activate the weapons that come with it (and are still using the stock ones).

FYI - Host have to activate the weapons in the server options. Change it to AS No Restrictions. :rocker:

Now that's an idea, I havn't noticed the restriction for it . . . nor have I read a readme :roll: I'll keep that in mind

1.1 mod update

V!r2L and Mono:

The AS 1.1 mod update is massive... more files are updated than people in line at a Sorority kegger (kappa kappa cow!).

It would be great if they could provide just the new files so we could make an installer :).

Tim, I have no idea what you are talking about. I haven't seen an update for the Alpha Squad Mod. Did something come out today?

I didn't see an update on their main page or their download page. Either way when are you uploading the new version, Vir2L?

The PC updater only works on the PC mod. No way of extracting the files. You have to have the 1.O pc mod for the updater to run. You can't just extract the files or run it into an empty folder.

Summary of changes for 1.1

- New uniforms (Thanks DTD for the combat vests textures)
- New effects and gun sounds (Thanks Samu for the sounds from Kafee Sound Pack)
- New game types: FF27 120 MOD and FF2(90)MODP featuring new enemy weaponry, last man going home and the Beretta penalty :)
- New weapons: AR-10A2, Kimber TLE, M1a Scout, M1a SOCOM, PSG1 (Thanks Thumper)
- Few kits were removed for realism or balancing reasons.
- Some weapon models upgraded (from Thumper's 7.62mm v. 2.0 mod)
- Pistols only kit restriction ;)

now theres an 1.2 patch... doh!!!

Summary of changes for 1.2

- New Mk12 Mod0 (SPR) model by Cocobolo (DTD); SD option now available too.
- Fixed campaign mission 6 CTD.
- Added a new mission: Dodging Clockwork from Tim Leary
- Updated Operation Ivy
- Enabled mouse zoom for PSG1

In progress, won't take long (small update), i learned a lot doing 1.1 so this one will be quick - a beta for the select few via iChat later tonite.

They shoulda given you equal billing - concepting and programming go hand in hand but at least YOU won't get blamed for the new patch, heh.
