THE MOSQUE: new mission

Post by tim_leary » Mon Aug 30, 2004 6:06 pm

(SEE UPDATED MISSION POSTING BELOW)

CODE NAME "FIREZONE": NIGHT, DAWN, DAY VERSIONS

MISSIONS for the mod The Mosque, put it in the mission folder for the mod.

You must secure the mosque, but no civilians can die or the mission fails.

The are a number of civilians going around mixed in with the tangos, so be very careful of what you are aiming at.

Don't engage tangos in the vicinity of civilians or they can get caught in the crossfire.

A few slow tank patrols as well. Stationary guns on top of the buildings.

You have to go house to house once you're in the compound.

beta.

Did you want me to add your Outpost missions along with this one?

I'd like to play them with other people a few more times first :).

Played the dawn versions tonite with Pres and Vr2L of the 3 Outpost ones but I haven't played the Mosque one with any body yet. I think I may do 2 more for the Mosque.

It's nice to have 9, thus a 3 pack with dawn/dusk/night - they play so much differently that way.

Good man. It's a fair sized chunk esp when it unstuffs. Funny how the Outpost has better FPS, d'oh. Wonder why that is. For the mosque maps I turned off the tree and dried shrubbery waving to save some FPS.
