Omega Cup 2004

A new coop tournament is at the beginning stages. It is called the Omega Cup it will be a annual tournament with this being the first. The website doesn't have alot of tournament info yet besides a back story for the missions.

we can probably join.. like [01] was able to participate in the SR tournaments, we just need to join by ip

There is not much info yet on the site so I'm not sure if Mac players can join. Hopefully they will get a forum up so we can find out.

Ya we to at
SOG participated in SR2004 (and kicked yer arses, lol =P).
This tournament
might require teamspeak (PC Only Voice software). Alot of the tournament promoters/hosts don't want to hassle with other software that isn't "the norm", for PC players. Fortunatly we sweet talked Alpha Squad into letting us participate in SR2004.
Maybe if some Mac players hassle these guys at Omega to let some of us play they might let us in.

hehehe, ya those mines kept us on our toes as well. LOL. SOme of the missions we didn't even make it far enough to see where the mines were LOL
BTW - i posted in the forum asking if the are letting Mac Gamers participate in the tourney.

well it settles.....
They replied to my question of Mac Players being able to join and....... the leaderboard is full, they are NOT allowing Mac players in.
They said maybe next time when they are allowing more teams to enter and they figure out how to handle us.
oh well, like previous PC only tourneys this should help me and leary get a tourney of our own goin for Mac players, again.

Roger that. We Think Different. If we don't have a full tourney, we could let some PC teams in if they blow sunshine up my arse... so mebbe I should put some anti PC user mines in the missions, ;p
