A friend of mine is a an Admin on Gameranger, he Banned me for 30 mins by mistake, or maybe it wasnt a mistake.
What if you get banned and you have paid for Premium?
Now that would be shit!!!

seriously.....
you musta said something about warez or something along the lines of sharing game files.
The last place anyone should be talking about passing files around is on gameranger. The moderators read pretty much everything that is said on the chat and private messages.

that seems awefuly strange to me. GR doesnt "indefinitly" ban people for no reason. You had to of said something or agreed/discussed to trading files to some level. I got a 30 minute ban once for telling someone where to download Island Thunder, I learned my lesson the hard way. You had to do somthing worse than that to get an indefinite ban.
If not, well... the only thing you can do is:
email support@gameranger.com (good luck in getting a response there)
get a buddy to talk to Evill in one of the main chat rooms and convince him its not you that should be banned.
or
forget about gameranger until you get a new computer with a diff. mac address.
By the sounds of the ban, he doesnt even care to have your presence on gameranger, even if you were planning to pay for the service someday. You just might be screwed.

Buy a Router for your internet connection. That will have its own MAC addy, some, you can change the MAC addy so it looks as if its another machine.
