Re: iPod Touch 3.0 Update
I really can't buy it. So I don't. o.o Big deal. It's an upgrade, not like a mandatory thing there.

Re: iPod Touch 3.0 Update
Why should it be free for iPhone, but not for iPod Touch? I paid $300 USD for my 1st gen iPod Touch. I understand paying money for 6 applications (1.2). But, I think that the app store and a couple of upgrades should be free. Apple should realize that some people literally CANNOT buy the iPhone due to the fact that they are locked in a contract from another carrier (i.e.: Sprint, T-Mobile, Metro PCS). My two-year contract is over, but, since I'm going to Israel I'm not getting a new plan until August. So, two years ago, I bought the iPod Touch instead. iPhone 3G is LESS expensive than the iPod Touch 1st generation, yet, iPhone users get it free and iPod Touch users pay money just so that Apple can make a little more.

Re: iPod Touch 3.0 Update
or maybe you could understand how hard it is to DEVELOP firmware for a device that is old and has to be able to function just as good as before but with the new features. Since you obviously do not, I am not sure as to why you are voicing an opinion about it.a worm wrote:Why should it be free for iPhone, but not for iPod Touch?
